Acceptance and integration – training for groups
The goal of these training events for groups is to help inclusion, socialization and acceptance of special children educated among majority children. Through common singing, storytelling and puppetry we discover together that everyone of us has unique and special capacities, such as one has good voice, one is more empathic than others etc. So we don’t treat special children outside the group, instead we handle the whole mixed group together.
We usually start with an interactive puppet show to check reactions and behaviors and so to have a first understanding about what kind of difficulties and tasks we need to face. Then we continue with poems, songs, common puppet plays while children can experience working together, paying attention to each other, appreciate the qualities of their mates. Of course their teachers and nurses have also an important role as they know these children very well. We offer these training events for groups with presence of special children in nurseries and kindergartens.
