The co-founders are the Sára siblings. Our performing and puppetry experience is based on our long-term participation at our local puppetry community. Growing up in such a creative environment we have prepared numerous plays as puppeteers, directors or screen-players. This local puppetry activity was founded and managed for 38 years by our mother, Lászlóné Sára. She was awarded by UNIMA (2001) and by the Hungarian Puppetiers Association (2008) for her work as an artist and educator. Our father, László Sára, has also had an important contribution as he has been helping for decades this puppetry activity.
Our personal professional experiences are described below:
Ildikó Komeiner is a teacher and special educator, she studied also culture- and library management and even specifically puppet theatre management. During her 30+ year long carrier as a pedagogue she has contributed to the launch of local early terapy and teaching of children with mental handicap. She has three children and she is a long distance runner.
Balázs Sára is an environmental and life cycle assessment expert with degree in biological engineering. He has been living in Italy for 25 years where he worked also at the Bologna University and the ENEA reserach center. For 10+ years he co-managed FEBE ECOLOGIC, his own consulting and training company, then he worked as technical director of the Italian Thinkstep subsidiary. He has been also an evaluator of the European Comission. Currently he works as an independent expert. He loves animals, the sea and sailing.
Mónika Bánfalvi is a special educator and speech therapist, she has experience in puppet education for children. She has worked on special education of people with extreme handicap and on early terapy of children with mental handicap. She has always paid high attention to support families with special children. As a freelance speech terapist she has helped and cured many children. She has been playing the flute since her childhood. She is a mum of three kids.
